    Going once, going twice and...more than 100 years after Margarete Steiff founded her Felt Godds and Toy Factory, rare Steiff products were sold for the first time at a public auction. Since then, countless Steiff rarities have been on the auction block. The lovingly hand-made Teddy Bear Auction Set takes up on and reminds us of this story. The 28 cm tall auctioneer made of high-quality mohair is wearing a black waistcoat and a champagne-coloured bowtie made of finest silk and stout-heartedly swings the wooden gravel with brass head. And before him on the auction block made of walnnut-coloured stained beech sits a small, red Teddy bear that is looking forward to his new home - who will raise the bid ?
