Archaeopteryx

Sometimes referred to by its German name Urvogel ("original bird" or "first bird"), is the earliest and most primitive bird know. Similar in size and shape to a European Magpie, they could grow to about 0.5 metres in length. Lived in the late Jurassic Period around 155-150 million years ago, in what is now southern Germany during a time when Europe was an archipelago of islands in a shallow warm tropical sea.

This article is handcrafted using only new materials, and complies to International safety standards EN 71, ASTMF 96386, AS 1647, BS 5665. Recommended age 3 years and up. To clean product use soft cloth, soap and warm water to remove dirt then wipe with clean moist cloth to remove soap. Leave to dry then brush gently. The badger may be washed by whashing machine not exceeding 30°C.
